LinkedIn is a fantastic sales tool when used correctly, it needs to be done with precision targeting of relevant contacts and not trying to get anyone and everyone to join your network.

Our customer is a funded support programme who needed to quickly promote a new package of fully funded support to the business owners and Directors of local companies. They came to Projects as they needed help.

We came up with a plan to create a LinkedIn campaign, targeting 500 Directors within a 30 mile radius of their office. The aim was to both get them to Link and also send out a bespoke sales message once they had linked.

How we set up a LinkedIn Marketing campaign

Every client is unique and so each campaign will differ slightly in how we set it up

We start with a briefing meeting, which can be face-to-face or virtual, to discuss your plans and how we can help to generate more sales.

If LinkedIn marketing is appropriate we will then start to put together a plan with some ideas for the target people, and the sales message content.

The sales messages and imagery will be based around your current website (assuming you're happy with the site), so the LinkedIn and websites are co-ordinated.

We will then target key decision makers in business which are appropriate for your product or service to create links and send sales messages..

In addition to sending messages and generating links, we will also post information and sales messages about your company to further increase it's visibility.
